Read these guidelines if you’re an incoming first-year college student who wants to apply to a Benilde Undergraduate program. Check the Admission Schedule to know if applications are ongoing.
Who can apply as an incoming first-year college applicant?
- Grade 12 Senior High School student and graduate eligible to proceed to college
- Has not yet enrolled in any tertiary education institution in the Philippines or abroad
- Filipino student who passed the Bureau Alternative Learning System (BALS or ALS) Test (equivalent to Grade 12 senior high school)
- Non-Filipino and dual citizen applicants including:
- An international student who graduated from Philippine high schools
- Permanent resident with Alien Certificate of Registration
- A dual citizen who declares Filipino citizenship
For International Student Applicants
- At the time of application, you must have a valid passport with a corresponding tourist visa. SSP or Tourist Visa holders can only enroll the following term once accepted for visa conversion processing.
- DLS-CSB will assist in the processing of student visas for those accepted into Benilde.
- Documents submitted to the Center for Admissions from outside the Philippines must be authenticated or apostille stamped by the Philippine Foreign Service Post. Documents in non-English language must have a corresponding English translation.
- Accepted Non-Filipino students are required to pay International Student Fee and Bond during the first enrollment in DLS-CSB. The amount is equivalent to one term in DLS-CSB.
- In compliance with the BID permit and related government issuances, international students can only apply to the following undergraduate programs:
- Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts (ABMMA)
- Bachelor of Science In Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management (BS-HRIM)
- Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management (BS-IHM)
- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BS-IS)
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Computer Applications (BSBA-CA)
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Export and Global Business Management (BSBA-EGBM)
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Human Resource Management (BSBA-HRM)
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Business Major in Business Management (BSBA-BM)
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Business Major In Marketing Management (BSBA-MM)
For Applicants with Specific Education Needs
- De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde aims to provide educational opportunities for diversely gifted learners, including applicants with specific education needs (SEN). The final acceptance or non-acceptance of SEN applicants is based on the merits of their application and the ability of the College to provide services for their conditions.
- Note that if you do not disclose your condition during application, the College is not obliged to provide you with any support or reasonable accommodation concerning your condition and you will be treated as a regular applicant/student.
- SEN applicants are those who have a physical disability (e.g. heart condition, visual/hearing impairment), specific learning needs (e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, etc.), or psychological/mental health condition that affected their schooling before/or may affect their schooling at Benilde.
SEN applicants can apply during the Batch 1 and Batch 2 application period.
How do I apply?
Create an account
- Go to the Benilde Admissions Application Portal.
- Click Register here.
- Answer the Email Address, Applicant’s Last/Family Name, and Applicant’s First/Given Name fields. The email address you used will be your username on the website.
- Click Register.
- You’ll receive an email confirming your pre-registration. Click on the link included in the email to complete your registration. If the email is not in your Inbox, check the Spam folder. The link is only valid for 24 hours. Beyond that, you have to pre-register again.
- Type a password for your account. You will use this password every time you log in to the website. Your password should have at least:
- 8 characters
- One uppercase letter (A, B, C)
- One lowercase letter (a,b,c)
- One numeric character (1,2,3)
- One special character (@,#,!)
- Click Save.
- Click Return to Login.
- Log in to your account. Type your username (email address) and password.
- Click Sign in.
Use your personal email address and make sure it’s active and valid. Emails associated with a school or company are usually deactivated when you’re no longer enrolled or connected to the company. If you use this, you might not be able to access your account.
Answer the Online Application Form
- Log in to your account in the Benilde Admissions Application Portal.
- Click Apply.
- Choose 2024-2025 Undergraduate First-Year College if you’re applying as an incoming first-year student for AY 2024-2025. If you’re applying as an incoming first-year student for 2nd Term AY 2023-2024, click 2023-2024 Undergraduate First Year College.
- Click Create Application.
- Fill out the form. Click Save to save your progress before clicking Next and moving to the next page.
- Click the Submit button once you have completed the form and checked all your responses. You can no longer edit your answers when you click this.
When filling out the online form, you will list down 3 degree programs that you wish to apply to. The Admissions Committee will assess you based on your first choice, and if you're accepted, they will not evaluate your qualifications for your second and third choices. If you're accepted into your second choice, it means that you did not qualify for your first choice. Once accepted, confirm and enroll immediately to secure your spot. If you wish to change your program, you'll need to pay an additional processing fee, and it will be processed in the late confirmation/enrollment batch. Being accepted will still depend on slot availability and your qualifications.
Print and Sign the Form
After submitting the form, click the Print button and save the PDF file on your device. You can sign the form with an electronic signature or print the form, sign it, then scan it.
Click the Save button after answering every page until the last page, then click the Submit button. The Print button will appear once you’ve successfully submitted the form.
Pay Admission Fee
Pay the non-refundable admission processing fee:
- Php 600.00 for Filipino students
- Php 2,500.00 for International students
- Php 200.00 for SDEAS and BASAP applicants
If you’re a dual citizen and you have a valid Philippine passport, you’re considered a Filipino applicant. Check the payment options to know how to pay this. Once paid, upload your proof of payment in the Benilde Application Payment Tracking Form.
The 12-digit application number can be found above your photo in the application form. This will be your reference number in paying the admission fee.
Email Requirements
Prepare and email the following documents to undergraduate.application@benilde.edu.ph. Set the email subject to Application Requirement Submission (applicant type) (e.g. Admission Requirement Submission (First-year)).
- Signed application form
- Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth certificate or Birth Certification/Family Register for International Student Applicants
- Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by the applicant’s current school (for applicants who studied in the Philippines) or Recommendation Letter (for applicants who studied in schools overseas).
- Benilde Secondary Scholastic Record accomplished and signed by the school registrar
- Developmental History Form (for Applicants with Specific Education Needs) accomplished by a developmental pediatrician, psychiatrist, or psychologist (they will email or send this directly to undergraduate.application@benilde.edu.ph)
- High School Transcript of Records (TOR) officially translated in English and duly authenticated or apostille stamp by the Philippine Foreign Service Post (PFSP) of the school’s country of origin and Diploma/Certificate of High School Graduation (for Non-Filipino and Filipino applicants who graduated or studied in schools overseas)
- Answer Applicant’s Consent Verification and Authorization Form
You are not required to disclose your condition and submit a Development History Form. Note that by not submitting this, you’ll be treated as a regular applicant or student and the College will not be obliged to provide you with the support and accommodation you may need for your condition.
Additional requirements for Senior High School Graduates:
- Grade 12 senior high school report card
- Certification with the school seal from the registrar stating that Form 137/SF10 was not forwarded to any school here or abroad
- Written statement of what you did after graduation up to the present signed by you and your parent (for applicants who did not apply/enroll to college right away after graduating in Senior High School)
Additional requirements for International Student Applicants and Dual Citizens:
Submit a copy of the following documents:
- Valid Passport - Bio page and stamp of latest arrival page
- Valid Alien Certificate of Registration Identification Card (ACR I-Card)
- Valid Identification Card for SIRV, SRRV, and PRA Holders
- Identification Certificate or Certificate of Recognition for Dual Citizens & Non-Native born
You only need to send the email once. Multiple emails may cause delays in processing the applications. Make sure to check your documents and attachments before sending them. You’ll get an email if you missed any requirements.
Become a Benildean
Wait for the application results. This will be posted on the Benilde Admissions Application Portal. Once you get accepted, submit the original or hardcopy versions of the requirements. Confirm your slot by paying the non-refundable reservation fee. This will be deducted from your total tuition and fees upon enrollment. You’ll receive a separate email for the confirmation and enrollment guidelines.
