Use Google Workspace Account
As Benildeans, you get a Google Workspace account (@benilde.edu.ph) that you can access and use while enrolled or employed in Benilde. Google Workspace is a collection of collaboration and productivity tools that includes Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, and more. You can use this account to communicate with other Benildeans, attend online meetings, events, and synchronous classes, and access files shared with the Benildean community. Updates and announcements from different Benilde centers are also emailed to BMail, so always check your inbox to stay updated on important advisories and messages.
Your Google Workspace account comes with 20GB of cloud storage. Use this to store files that you need to share with other Benildeans. To conserve your storage space, save large files on your local hard drive or back them up to your Benilde OneDrive account. Make it a habit to clean up your inbox. Most importantly, only use your Google Workspace account exclusively for Benilde-related files and activities. Since you will lose access to this account when you’re not enrolled, graduated, or ended your employment, you shouldn’t use this to sign up for social media apps, online banking, and other accounts intended for personal use.
