When is the application schedule?
Applications for graduate programs are accepted every term. Application for the 3rd Term AY 2021-2022 is not yet open. In the meantime, you can view the application procedures from the previous school year to have a headstart in preparing your requirements.

Who can apply to Graduate programs?
To apply to Graduate programs, you must be a college graduate.
If you are applying to Master of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management and your undergraduate degree is not related to hospitality or tourism, you will need to take 9 units of bridging subjects to be formally accepted into the program. These subjects are already included in your program flowchart once accepted.
If you’re applying to Doctor in Tourism and Hospitality Management and Doctor of Philosophy in Tourism and Hospitality Management by Research, you must be a master’s degree graduate in the same or related field from a recognized institution.
If you are applying to Doctor in Tourism and Hospitality Management and you graduated with a non-thesis degree, you need to take 9 units of bridging subjects to be formally accepted into the program. These subjects are already included in your program flowchart once accepted.
Other graduate programs do not have required undergraduate degrees or bridging subjects.

How do I apply?
Follow these steps to apply:
1. Send soft copies of the following documents to graduate.application@benilde.edu.ph with the subject set to Graduate Program Application Requirement Submission:
- PSA birth certificate (for Filipino citizens)
- Passport & Birth Certificate/Family Register (for Non-Filipino citizens)
- 2X2 colored picture taken in the last 6 months
- Original Transcript of Records for Evaluation or Further Studies purposes
- Certificate of Graduation
- Updated Curriculum Vitae
- Certificate of Good Moral Character from previous school or current employer (valid at least 6 months from date of issuance)
- Download and fill out the following forms:
- Application Form
- 2 Recommendation Forms: Forward the recommendation forms to your professor, work supervisor, or employer. These will be sent directly to us.
- Proof of payment for the application fee.
2. Pay the non-refundable application fee of Php 600.00 for Filipino citizens or Php 2,500.00 for Non-Filipino citizens. You can pay this through any of the Benilde Payment Channels.
Take a clear photo of the transaction slip and send it with the requirements along with the following information:
- Date
- Amount
- DLS-CSB Account Number
- Student name
3. Go through the application interview. The program chairperson will contact you for your interview schedule.
4. If you’re accepted, you will receive an email along with instructions on when and how you can confirm your application.
What application requirements do I have to submit?

Request the recommendation from professors, work supervisors, or employers who can give feedback on your qualifications for graduate study.
- Proof of payment for the application fee
Can I submit an NSO birth certificate instead of a PSA birth certificate?
No, we require our applicants to submit a Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificate.
Is there an entrance exam?
Due to the limitations imposed by the pandemic, the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) is currently waived. You will be assessed based on your submitted documents and interview.
I don’t want to proceed with my application; can I refund the application fee?
We’re sad to hear this. However, as stated in the application procedures, the application fee is non-refundable.
I missed the deadline; can I still submit my application?
We do not accept late application submissions, so make sure that you submit the requirements during the posted application period.
I already submitted the requirements; how will I know if it was received?
We will send you an email to acknowledge that we have received your application requirements.
How will I know if I missed submitting a requirement?
We will send you an email to inform you of the missing requirements so you can send them to us.
I’m the applicant’s professor, work supervisor, or employer. How do I submit the recommendation form?
You can email the recommendation form to graduate.application@benilde.edu.ph. Set the subject of your email to Graduate Recommendation_Applicant’s Complete Name (example, Graduate Recommendation_Juan Dela Cruz).
How will I know my result?
You will receive an email on your application status. Official emails from Benilde have an @benilde.edu.ph address (e.g.admissions@benilde.edu.ph).
When will I know my result?
We will post a schedule on when we will release the results.
