Do I need to pay the Php 5,000 reservation fee while waiting for my scholarship result?
Yes. Program slots for enrollment are limited and fill up quickly, and early confirmation helps secure your place in your preferred program.
You may choose to wait for the release of your scholarship result before paying. However, since enrollment is ongoing, some programs or schedules may already be full by the time results are released.
What happens if I pay the reservation fee, but I am not granted a scholarship?
The reservation fee will serve as your non-refundable reservation fee, which means your slot in the program remains secured. You are still very much welcome to enroll as a regular student, and the amount will be deducted from your total tuition and fees assessment.
What happens if I am granted a scholarship after paying the reservation fee?
- If you are granted a full scholarship, the Php 5,000 will be converted to a credit memo and applied to future required fees, such as the token fee for enrollment confirmation.
- If you are granted a partial scholarship, the Php 5,000 will be deducted from your total tuition and fees assessment.
I am exempted from the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE). Do I still need to take it for a scholarship?
Yes. All scholarship applicants are required to take the BEE, including those admitted under special admission lanes. Your admission will follow the requirements of your admission lane, but the BEE result will be used for scholarship evaluation purposes only.
Can I still enroll even if I am not granted a scholarship?
Yes. If your scholarship application is not approved, you may still proceed with enrollment as a regular student, provided you meet the admission requirements and confirm your slot within the allowed period, subject to program availability.
Can I apply for another scholarship if my first application is not approved or if I change programs?
No. Due to the large volume of applicants and the limited number of available grants, applicants are advised to select only one scholarship type during the application period, regardless of program choice. For fairness and processing purposes, requests to apply for a different scholarship after the initial evaluation cannot be accommodated.
What happens if I withdraw my scholarship application or apply after the regular period?
Late and re-applying scholarship applicants may still be considered; however, applications will no longer be given priority and will be processed subject to slot availability, deadlines, and current scholarship policies. Please submit a helpdesk ticket if you wish to be included among the late scholarship applicants.
I have an externally funded scholarship. Do I still need to apply for a Benilde scholarship?
Externally funded scholarships without a formal agreement or coordination with the College will not be processed by the Center for Scholarships and Grants (CSAG). If you have an external scholarship, please coordinate directly with your scholarship benefactor and inform CSAG accordingly.
I have submitted my scholarship application, but I have not received any invitation from the Scholarships and Grants Unit. What should I do?
If you are a late applicant, you will receive your invitations after all regular applicants have been processed. You may also call 8230-5100 local 1821 to follow up on the status of your scholarship application.
Can I change my program after paying the reservation fee?
No. Once the reservation fee has been paid, your slot is reserved under your selected program. Requests for a program change after confirmation cannot be accommodated, as program slots are allocated based on confirmed enrollment.
