Zoom AI Companion is now activated in our Zoom Pro subscription. This feature assists in creating meeting summaries, chat highlights, and supports productivity.
Follow these steps to configure AI Companion settings:
- Log in to Zoom. Choose to sign in with Google and enter your Benilde Google Account credentials.
- From the side menu, click Settings.
- Click the AI Companion tab and configure the settings based on your needs.
Controls for some options are locked by the system administrator and cannot be modified.
Keep the following in mind when using AI Companion in your meetings:
- Zoom AI Companion may automatically generate meeting summaries and insights based on meeting content.
- Meeting summaries will be forwarded to the Host and Co-Host.
- AI-generated transcripts are intended to assist you. You should review them for accuracy before use or distribution.
- Meeting hosts must inform participants if AI Companion features are enabled during a session. This should be stated before the meeting starts.
- Meeting hosts have full control to activate, deactivate, or pause Zoom AI Companion at any point during a meeting.
- Use of Zoom AI Companion must comply with existing data privacy, information security, and acceptable use policies of the College.
