Link Learning Outcomes to Quizzes

After creating learning outcomes, you may link them to Quiz Questions in your course. Follow these steps to align them with quizzes:

1. From the BigSky homepage, click on the course where you want to link the learning outcome.
2. On the navigation bar, click Assessment > Quizzes.
3. Click on the name of the quiz you want to modify with the learning outcome.
4. Click Create New to add new questions or Add Existing to update existing questions.
5. On the quiz editing page, select the boxes next to the questions you want to align to your learning outcomes.
6. Click More Actions > Align to Outcomes on the drop-down menu above the list of questions.
7. In the dialog box, tick the boxes next to your desired learning outcomes.
8. Click Save to confirm your selections.
9. Click Save and Close.

Linking learning outcomes to your quizzes ensures that each assessment directly supports the course outcomes outlined in your syllabus, helping maintain alignment across course activities and program goals.
