The Community Service Program (CSP) is a social formation program where you can apply your academic degree to address a problem or need in our partner community. Registration for CSP opens every term. The Center for Social Action (CSA) sends announcements via email for registration guidelines.
CSP is required for all transferees who have already taken NSTP-01 and NSTP-02 in their previous schools and for international students.
If you’re not sure if you’re required to take CSP, chat with Beni.
Credit transfer for NSTP will only be implemented once you earn a Certificate of Completion for the Community Service Program. CSP completion is part of the graduation requirements for transferees and international students.
What’s the program schedule and expected output?
CSP is an 8-week program that meets every Saturday of the term. You’ll be working with a group to develop a project related to your course that will benefit a partner community.
When can I register?
You can register for CSP once you’re in your 5th term (2nd year, 2nd term) in Benilde. It’s best to register and complete CSP as soon as you can. Not being able to complete CSP may delay your graduation.
How will I get a Certificate of Completion?
You will earn your Certificate of Completion once you complete the program requirements. If not, you’ll have to retake the program.
How do I register?
The Center for Social Action sends an email with the registration form and instructions once it opens. You can register once you’re already on your 5th term (2nd year, 2nd term) in Benilde.
