Benilde offers privileges to artistically inclined students with the Saint Mutien Marie Wiaux Scholarship (SMMWS). If you have exceptional creative skills and want to pursue a degree program in your chosen artistic discipline, this scholarship is for you. It grants a partial scholarship on tuition fees.
To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
- You are a Filipino citizen and an incoming first-year undergraduate applicant.
- You were accepted to Benilde in any of the degree programs under the School of Arts, Culture, and Performance, School of Environment and Design, or School of New Media Arts.
- You finished Grades 7 to Grade 11 with a Grade Point Average of at least 85% and with no grade lower than 80% at any grade level.
- You showcased talents in arts and/or design through Certificates and Portfolio of Works.
- If you apply through Green Lane or Express Lane, you will be invited to take the Benilde Entrance Exam as part of the scholarship requirements.
You must meet the GPA requirement when you graduate from Grade 12; otherwise, you will be ineligible for the scholarship.
How to apply
- Once accepted in Benilde, fill out the Scholarship Application Form for The Saint Mutien Marie Wiaux Scholarship. The form is only open during the scholarship application period.

Create a Google Drive Folder where you will upload the following requirements:
- Admissions Acceptance Letter
- Scholarship Application Form (SAF)
- Scholarship Grade Form (SGF)
- Certificates of Awards
- Portfolio of Works
- Set the Google Drive Folder sharing settings to Anyone with the link. Copy the sharing link and indicate it in the form.
- Ask your Art Teacher to fill out the SMMWS Recommendation Form and email it to scholarshipapplications@benilde.edu.ph.
- The Center for Admissions - Scholarships and Grants Unit will email your scholarship application result.
