Send a Pager Message to Students

Whether you need to send brief updates or reminders about important course activities, pager messages allow you to connect with ease. Follow these steps to send pager messages to students:

1. From the BigSky homepage, click the course of where the students you will message belong to.
2. On the Navigation Bar, click on User > Classlist. You can filter the list by All, Students, Instructor, Coordinator, Guest Student, Mentor, and Observer.
3. Look for the name of the students or type it in the search box.
4. Tick on the check boxes for those you wish to communicate with, and click on the Page button.
5. The Compose New Message will pop up as a new window.
6. Write your message in the provided text box.
7. Click Send.

Students can receive message notifications through the Brightspace Pulse App, ensuring they are immediately and conveniently alerted to new pager messages.
