Undergraduate and Transferee
-
Transferees may request credit transfer for courses taken in other schools provided they have earned a grade of at least:
- 85-89% for Board programs
- 75%-79% for Non-board programs
- Units earned in diploma, certificate, pre-baccalaureate, or other non-college level courses do not qualify for credit transfer, except the government-mandated courses, Physical Education (PE) and National Service Training Program (NSTP), for which there is no grade requirement, provided, course units are equivalent.
- In case of admission to a new degree program, units earned from previous school do not qualify for credit transfer, except National Service Training Program (NSTP), provided, course units and descriptions are equivalent.
- Only units earned at a college level from a CHED-recognized degree program course will be evaluated for possible credit transfer.
- Credit transfer for core courses requires the submission of the course syllabus and approval of the Program Chairperson.
- All units toward major and institutional courses are to be earned in residence.
- A maximum of 20% of the total units towards the degree may be granted credit transfer. At least 80% of the total units should have been earned in residence to earn a diploma and/or qualify for graduation honors. In case GE courses for credit transfer exceed the 20% maximum, courses with the highest grades will be the ones considered for advanced credit. In case GE courses for credit transfer reach the 20% maximum, Core courses will no longer be credited.
- Course units are credited but grades are not i.e., grades earned from previous schools will not be included in the computation of the cumulative grade point average (CGPA). However, withdrawals and/or failing mark(s) from a previous college/university disqualifies a transferee from receiving academic honors upon graduation.

- Transferee students who have previously completed NSTP-01 and NSTP-02 at other institutions are required to complete the Community Service Program (CSP) of the Center for Social Action (CSA).
