The Benilde Data Privacy Policy ensures that your data and personal information are kept secure and confidential. Read the policy to know how Benilde complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and learn the policies and sanctions in place to protect your personal information. The Benilde Data Privacy Policy applies to all Benildean students, associates, and third-party contractors.
Data Privacy Policy violations are considered a major offense. Here are some actions considered to be Data Privacy violations:
- Accessing, processing, or divulging the personal information of others without consent.
- Selling personal information that they are in possession of or have access to.
- Using or disclosing personal information collected through school activities, events, or services for profiling.
- Collecting, using, or sharing personal information beyond what is needed for education or school purposes or as authorized in the consent form.
- Unsecured storage, retention beyond declared use, and unlawful destruction and/or alteration of personal information
- Negligence resulting in unauthorized disclosure of personal information
