The Benilde Intellectual Property Rights Policy was created to identify, protect, and manage intellectual property generated in or through the College.
Any violations of IP rights are considered a major offense and are subject to penalties, including:
- Ineligibility to receive or forfeiture of financial grants of any kind from the College or its affiliate for a period not to exceed 2 years
- Removal of teaching and/or research load for a period not to exceed 2 years
- Forfeiture or disqualification for promotion or any administrative position for at least 2 years.
To know more about the complete policy details and guidelines, you can find them in this link.
You can report IP rights violations by filling out and submitting the Filing of Complaint/Reporting an Incident form for student violations and to PODO at podohelpdesk@benilde.edu.ph for associate violations.
