All Benildean associates, teaching and non-teaching, have access to a licensed version of Zoom. With the licensed version, you can host meetings with unlimited meeting time and with up to 300 participants. You also have access to the following features:
- Customize personal meeting ID
- Record to the Zoom cloud
- Be an alternative host to a meeting
- Assign others to schedule and schedule on behalf of
- Utilize account add-ons such as conference Room Connector
- Be assigned user add-ons such as Large Meetings, Webinars, or Personal Audio Conference
Follow these steps to access your licensed Zoom account:
- You will receive an invitation to access your Zoom-licensed account in your BMail.
- Open and read the invitation email.
- Click Activate Your Zoom Account.
- When prompted to log in, click Sign in with Google.
- Log in using your Google Workspace account and password.
- Click Link and Sign In.
- Start using your Zoom-licensed account.
If you’re still using the free version, contact Helpdesk. Like your other Benilde accounts, you lose access to the licensed version when you’re no longer employed in Benilde or if you’re a part-time faculty who doesn’t have a teaching load.
Students only have a free Zoom account. Student organizations have 1 licensed Zoom account that they can use for their meetings and activities. Get an endorsement from the Center for Student Life to request a licensed Zoom account for your organization.
